Team to Atambua, Nusa Tenggara Timor

Team to Atambua, Nusa Tenggara Timor Family Care Indonesia volunteers Daniel and Esther together with 3 friends visited Atambua for one week. Since this is predominantly a Catholic area we had one of the nuns travel with us. We visited 4 schools in the Atambua area and 3 schools in the mountain villages about 2 hours from Atambua by off road vehicle.

Hospital Visit in Jakarta

Hospital Visit in Jakarta Mary and Pierre had a wonderful morning at the Fatmawati Hospital distributing activity bags to over 50 children, 6 months to 18 years of age. They, along with the American Woman's Association gathered materials from local sponsors to share with the children in need.

Team to Atambua, Nusa Tenggara Timor Family Care Indonesia Volunteers travel to Atambua, NTT visiting more than 10 primary and junior high schools. We distributed 1,000 pairs of school shoes, more than 1,000 school uniforms, more than 1,000 pairs of socks and 400 variety packages. This project was sponsored by friends from Bogor and Surabaya.

Assistance to Atambua, Nusa Tenggara Timor Esther organized the shipment of over 1,000 Primary school uniforms as well as stationery, books and toys to be shipped to Atambua in Nusa Tenggara Timor. The shipment included 49 sacks of primary school uniforms and 11 boxes of assorted goods.

Bandung – Children with Cancer

Bandung – Children with Cancer Thanks to the generous gifts of donors, Family Care Indonesia volunteer Dina was able to bring a new computer set up to the schoolroom for child cancer patients at Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin. The classroom has been built and equipped under the sponsorship of Care for Cancer Kids Foundation (ykaki.org).
