Family Care Indonesia volunteers visited 3 orphanages in Medan and Siantar where they conducted Musical Programs, did Balloon Art with the children and donated Food Supplies and Reading Materials for the children.

For the past three months Family Care Indonesia volunteers have paid regular visits to Rumah Kasih Orphanage in Lembang to bring needed supplies and offer Motivational English classes and inspiration for the children and teens there.

As part of our on-going commitment to support needy institutions with food and goods Family Care Indonesia volunteers have been distributing a large amount of soup (in powder form) to many of the institutions we have been helping for several years.

As part of the Lebaran celebration Family Care Indonesia members distributed needed food supplies and various goods to the elderly throughout Jakarta.

For the past few years Family Care Indonesia members have provided manpower to assist in the checkups especially for malnourished children and have been able to provide needed milk for these needy children.

During the Idul Fitri celebrations, Angel and Nicolas visited Cipayung, East Jakarta, where Family Care Indonesia has been providing supplies for social institutions for the past 8 years. This time, we brought nourishment to Tresna Werdha, a center for 125 old folks, as well as Tunas Bangsa Orphanage that is caring for babies.

Thanks to our kind sponsors, Family Care Indonesia volunteers were able to join buka puasa with the children, parents and staff at the Foundation for Cancer Children during Ramadan where dinners, complete with fruit and ice cream, were enjoyed by the children, parents along with the staff and FCI volunteers.

In cooperation with the BrillKids Foundation, Family Care Indonesia volunteer, Dina, was able to present an early learning reading kit to the teachers at the YKAKI Foundation for Cancer Children.

In July, Family Care Indonesia members joined with friends, Pak Har and Pak Panji, in a grassroots team-building and character-building project in Boro, Central Java. Pak Har and Pak Panji successfully initiated an outbound project called Boro Asri Menoreh.
