Our personal involvement and visitation programs help to supplement the dedicated efforts of the professionals, staff and caregivers who work tirelessly in the care and aid of those in need. Through the concerned and generous help of like-minded individuals and businesses, Family Care Indonesia has helped to make physical improvements and provided needed items such as food, clothing, etc.. The friendship, kindness, comfort and direction given through our personal interaction and fun filled inspirational programs is done with the aim of leaving each recipient with faith and hope for a brighter future.

Holisticare
Family Care Indonesia has been helping the community in Cilincing, Tanjung Priok for many years thru the Sister Puteri Kasih. In October 2011, Family Care Indonesia along with a company representatives from Holisticare, visited Cilincing in Tanjung Priok to survey a location for the company’s yearly community social event.

FCI and NICI visit Pulau Sembilangan
NICI (Nestle Indofood Citarasa Indonesia) along with Family Care Indonesia volunteers visited Pulau Sembilangan located in Bekasi Barat to paint the new school building Madrasah Aliyah. The 85 employees from the company who participated in the event were transported by 8 big boats. Rain or shine everyone is ready for an adventure with life vest, raincoats and umbrellas.

A Trip to Village Schools in Manado
Recently Family Care Indonesia volunteers Eve and Terry visited Manado and surrounding villages for two weeks distributing children’s “Character Building” VCDs and activity pages in surrounding schools. They taught the children action songs, plus simple English phrases, and played games together with the children.

Christmas at Rumah Kasih Orphanage, Lembang
Through the sponsorship of kind friends, Family Care Indonesia volunteers donated a Christmas tree, lights and sparkling Christmas decorations to the Rumah Kasih Orphanage in Lembang. Family Care Indonesia youth also made Christmas Angels for the orphans to hang on their new tree.

Encouragement in Bintaro for the Orphans and Elderly
Family Care Indonesia members Albert and Angel held a program at the Yayasan Kasih Orang Tua dan Peduli Anak Pniel which cares for 49 orphans and 80 elderly. Joined by a close friend who donated new glasses to the elderly they also distributed a sponsored lunch and donated food supplies for all.
