Early Learning and Character-Building
It is a well established fact that the most important years of learning begin at birth and continue through age five. During these early years, a child is capable of absorbing more information than at any other stage of development. Early learning is important for a child’s long-term learning and development. Family Care Indonesia places a special emphasis on early learning and character building through conducting early learning seminars for teachers and parents alike. Along with seminars, Family Care Indonesia offers a variety of educational and character-building materials which include children's character-building VCDs and fun packed Activity books along with a teacher’s manual explaining how to use the program. Our recent seminars for preschool teachers from PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) groups, which provide free education for pre-school and kindergarten age children from low income families, and which are utilizing our educational and character-building materials have been very successful. We plan to continue this seminar program in needy school districts throughout Indonesia including Jakarta. We plan to continue developing our early learning program in order to further our character-building and educational goals.
