This month, construction began on a three room school building in the city of Atambua. Through the generosity of numerous sponsors,
Family Care Indonesia volunteers were able to collect sufficient funding for this project. It is estimated that construction will take two and half to three months. The building will serve as an addition for the original school that was built in 2009.
After contacting friends in Jakarta, a new 2,000 watt electrical generator was also donated to the school. This is the second school building in Atambua that
FCI has helped to facilitate sponsorship for and is part of our long-term vision for educational improvement in East Nusa Tenggara.
