Institutional Support Food Program
As part of our on-going commitment to support needy institutions with food and goods
Family Care Indonesia volunteers have been distributing a large amount of soup (in powder form) to many of the institutions we have been helping for several years.
Distributions were made in Medan; Ruteng, Flores, Kupang and Soe in NTT West and Central Java as well as Jakarta. Most of the institutions were orphanages and senior citizen's homes such as Yayasan Bhakti Luhur, an orphanage for children with special needs in Lebak Bulus, Desa Putra Orphanage in Situ Babakan, Ciganjur; Panti Asuhan Yos Sudarso, Cilandak; and a Panti Jompo in Bintaro to name a few.

Lebaran Celebration Support for the Elderly
As part of the Lebaran celebration
Family Care Indonesia members distributed needed food supplies and various goods to the elderly throughout Jakarta.
This year working with various businesses,
Family Care Indonesia members were once again able to distribute 200 packets of needed goods to the elderly concentrating in Pasar Minggu, Jagakarsa, Cilincing and Sembilangan area.
Monthly Health Checkups for Newborns and the Malnourished
For the past few years
Family Care Indonesia members have provided manpower to assist in the checkups especially for malnourished children and have been able to provide needed milk for these needy children.
