Easter Programs
Special thanks to the sponsors who made it possible for
Family Care Indonesia volunteers to celebrate Easter at a number of places this month.
This included an elementary school, an orphanage and BNN drug rehabilitation center as well as at our
FCI center. Besides the special
Easter Puppet Show which portrayed a modern version of Easter, we also donated basic food items, a guitar for Easter activities and an evening meal together. We appreciate all those who participated and helped make this program a success.
YKAKI Children Attend Disney on Ice Show
This month,
Family Care Indonesia volunteers facilitated a special outing to attend the Disney on Ice show for 35 children, parents and staff of the
Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) in Jakarta.
Attending the Fantasy on Ice performance was an unforgettable experience for all!

Al Jabar Orphanage - Batam
Two
Family Care Indonesia volunteers, Nicky and Andre, made a trip to Batam Island recently and while there surveyed the possibility of building a computer room for the Al Jabar Orphanage which houses 74 children.
During the visit, a set of educational VCDs was donated and snacks were distributed to the orphans. Thanks to the generosity of the Takadeli Bakery.
